My heartfelt condolences go out to the Crumley family. Vernon was a great friend of our family and was one of my dad's favorite fellow horse traders. Vernon was also a great police officer. It was Vernon, who along with fellow officer and family friend Ted Hargis, proved to me at an early age that an officer is someone to be admired as well as respected.
