Oh the memories I will cherish forever. I remember when I was about 8 years old sitting in a pancake house with my mom, and looking out across the parking lot and who did I see. My daddy V. Before my mom could stop me, I was out the door and there I went to get my hug from you. I was soooo excited. Little did I know that you were there to arrest the "bad guys" You took time to give my one of those hugs that I absolutley have always loved, and then quickly sent me back to my mother. You always took time for me. You will forever be in my heart, and in my memories. This world lost a good man when you went home, but rest high on that mountain Daddy Vernon. No more pain, and the heart and body of a child. You deserve it. I love you!
