Homer always had a friendly wave and hello at the beckon. It was Homer who would collect a newspaper and leave it at the front door, or bring in a garbage cart. He'd inquire about family with genuine interest, and showed a beautiful concern for the safety and well being of the neighborhood cats. We will miss his gentle and generous soul. He was truly the good neighbor.
