My deepest sympathy to your family during this very difficult time. I had the fortunate opportunity to meet Karen only a couple of years ago when we first began working together on the Echoes of Color film series that was launched as a collaborative effort between KRLU and other community partners. She was so very instrumental to the success of this program and it was a pleasure to get to know her. We met just a few weeks ago to begin making plans for next year's film series. I was saddened to learn of her passing; she will be missed tremendously. There are persons who come into our lives for only a short time, and yet you feel that your life has been made better by having known them. Karen was one of those persons for me. I will miss her and will continue to lift your family up in prayer.
