I first met Lois after coming to live in Wimberley when I subbed in a bridge club she was in. I later joined that bridge group and another she was in. I always was given a hug and warm welcome when I saw her at these bridge days. Later I picked her up and she and I drove together to these bridge days. I loved her always upbeat good nature and the caring she showed to all concerned. I will always remember her for her strength and grace in these past few months of her life and hope I can be like her when my time comes.
