To a man who loved life, his friends, and his family, and was so loved by many people, you will be surely missed! We are so blessed to have been apart of your life and will always cherish the fond memories we have...I will always remember how much you meant to our son and how you brought him so much joy, and taught him so much when you sold him an old pick up truck that was sitting out in the field, before he was even old enough to drive...he spent endless hours working on it in our garage, learning all about restoring, responsiblity, and joy of being together with his own Dad, learning everything he could to get it running! Even though you sold it to him for little of nothing, he worked hard to save his own money to make the payments, learning the importance of working hard and keeping his promise and making good on his word...a lesson in life that will be with him forever, making him an honest, hard working man, and for that he has you to thank and we are so greatful for!! This world could use a few more Homers' and it would definately be a better place!!! So Rest in Peace and one day we shall reunite, until then God Bless!! The Deats Family.
