Homer Brancher Hutcheson, 99, of Austin passed away peacefully August 29, 2012 in Houston, Texas.

Born April 12, 1913 in Bynum, Texas, he was the youngest child of Jasper and Ida Cleo (Terry) Hutcheson's seven children and lived the majority of his life in Texas, mostly in Austin.

The last decades of his life he enjoyed his Pemberton Heights' neighbors and friends he worshipped with at Highland Village Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by his wife, Helen Armstrong Davis Hutcheson, as well as all of his siblings, he is survived by his son, Wayland Hutcheson of Houston, step daughter Betty McMillan of Austin, step sons James Davis of Liberty Hill and Charles Patrick Davis of Austin, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and many amazing friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday, September 3, 2012, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Highland Village Church of Christ, 4716 Bull Creek Rd. in Austin with Minister Cecil Haffelfinger officiating and graveside services to follow at Capital Memorial Park Cemetery in Pflugerville.
