Carlise was a wonderful big sister to my mom, and a kind and thoughtful Aunt to myself. I will always have great memories of our time together at Sam Rayburn Reservoir (1984?). We had tasty meals, great fun, and raucous games of UNO. I also loved and appreciated my Aunt Carlise's support and encouragement to me for standing up and representing "Boykin Blue Dog Democrats" here on the other side of the Mississippi River.
