Condolence: Dear Uncle Dudley,Gail,Danny and Scott. My deepest sympathy for the lose of your wife and mom.She was a wonder sister to Sally and a fun aunt. As a kid visiting Texas,Carlise always made me feel welcome and at home.
I'll miss her Texas style chili and her Texas drawl.When I finally was able to grow a beard.... it had a redish tint of which I would tell friends that I have an aunt with red hair. Love, Jeff Wright

My heart and prayers are with you all. Carlise was a wonderful big sister to my mom, and a kind and thoughtful Aunt to myself. I will always have great memories of our time together at Sam Rayburn Reservoir (1984?). We had tasty meals, great fun, and raucous games of UNO. I also loved and appreciated my Aunt Carlise's support and encouragement to me for standing up and representing "Boykin Blue Dog Democrats" here on the other side of the Mississippi River. Aunt Carlise was wonderful person who brought love and dedication to her family and her three sisters. I have very fond memories of Aunt Carlise when we visited Texas as a young boy. The last time I spent time with her was in 1988 when she and Uncle Dudley were in Falls Church, VA. I believe Uncle Dudley was visiting his brother. Susan and I were still newly weds living in Richmond. We drove up and met them for dinner. We had a terrific evening. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
