:Lea and I met when we were both young mothers working for Vanda Beauty Counselor. We became instant friends and remained so for all the years we have known each other even when our lives went in different directions. When Alan and I moved to Bellingham, I said to him that I thought I remembered that Lea lived near us. Ilooked up her address and sure enough sje was living one street away from me. I went to her house and rang the doorbell. We greeted eachother as if only a few weks had passed, not years. She got me involved in the local Hadassah chapter, we saw each other often. When she moved there was a hole in my world for the place she had held. I shall miss her very, very much.
