Glenn and Evelyn were my parents, Julian and Lois', good friends. They met in the early '50s when dad joined the Texas Research League. I have many fond memories of spending time with the Ivys and benefiting from their warm hospitality. Glenn was a kind and thoughtful man who loved his family and tennis. From an early age, I knew the Ivy's dogs were named after famous women tennis players. I especially remember Althea and Goolagong. My thoughts are with John, Karen, Michelle and Candace.
