I just returned from a business trip in Florida and read today that Tom had passed away on July 7th. Tom, Pat White and I were best friends in high school and were inseparable. The three of us enjoyed many good times (and hijinks) for several years after high school. Tom and I kept in touch throughout the years and he consulted me many times when he was injured in South America while working as an iron worker. Tom was extremely proud of his work and seemed to really enjoy working at dizzying heights on elevated buildings. Tom was a true friend and enriched my life many times over. I will miss you my friend.
