Buck Looney of Austin was born in Dallas, TX on May 10, 1950 and passed away in Dallas, TX on September 18, 2012. Buck was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to many. He attended O. Henry Jr. High, Austin High and the University of Texas where he was a proud member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Casimir Pulaski, one of the first nuclear submarines.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sallie Williams and his adored children, Meghan and Matthew. He is also survived by his brother, Ben Looney IV, sister and brother–in-law, Chris and Bill Caudill, and numerous nieces and nephews. He leaves behind many life-long and loyal friends who will surely miss his jovial spirit, wonderful cooking and warm heart.

Buck was preceded in death by his parents, Ben F. and LeLois Looney and his brother, Michael.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 22 at 2pm at Weed-Corley-Fish, 3125 North Lamar Blvd.
