I can remember so well the time we met in Walnut Creek, Calif. in l965. Ken and I and Dan(8)and Carol(6) were staying in a motel in Walnut Creek waiting for a new house to be finished. Carol and Suzi met in the swimming pool, were getting acquainted, and discovered their Dads both worked for Shell Oil. Therefore, I met Suzi and then Irene. It wasn't long before the Bittles moved into their house, and soon I was asked to join her bridge group. That was the beginning of our long friendship in spite of all the moves we both made over the years. Nancy, do you remember baby sitting for us a few times when you were in High School? We lived just over into Concord from Walnut Creek. Such good memories. My love and condolences to you all. June Smith
