Debra Gieseke went home to her Lord and Savior Wednesday August 22, 2012 at the age of 57. An Austin native she was born February 17, 1955. Debra will be remembered as a loving and free spirit who doted on her nieces and nephews. Debra leaves behind a devoted and loving husband Todd Gieseke of 29 years and beloved daughter Lauren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Narciso and Carmen Calderon; brother, Mario Calderon; and father-in-law, Lyle Gieseke. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Calderon; sisters, Sylvia Calderon, Diane Joiner, Cylinda Flores; mother-in-law, Mikki Schneider; and numerous other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

In her diverse employment history her employment at Martinez & Wright Engineers was the highlight of her career.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue with a Memorial Service celebrating Debra's life to follow at 2:00 pm with Reverend James Martin, C.S.C. officiating
