I met Roxann in May 1982. We became instant friends. I am so blessed to have met her. Her daughter, Mikaela, was born August 1984. Mikaela was forever the joy of Roxann's life. When I went to see Roxann in the hospital to meet little Miss Mikaela, Roxann was beaming, that was the happiest day of her life. Theirs was a very, very special relationship, one you don't see very often. They loved and treasured each other. After Mikaela was grown, they talked on the phone at least once every day and always ended by saying, "Love You!!"
