Malcolm and Ann Brown

June 8 2012 It is with great sadness that we learned of Walter's death from Jeanie on Monday. Just the day before, I had a long telephone conversation with Walter. He and Jeanie invited me to an Austin Symphony concert on Friday, June 8. Little did I realize that within 24 hours, Walter would be striken with a fatal condition. Ann and I came to know Walter and Jeanie Parks through my uncle Arnold Brown who was Walter's medical school classmate in Galveston. Every year, when the members of Walter's and Arnold's class would meet, we were invited to their lovely parties! We came to know Walter and Jeane very well. When Ann had her stroke in July 2009, Walter and Jeanie were always there to help us. Every time Walter and Jeanie would visit, he would kiss Ann on the forehead. I will never forget this. Such a kind, unselfish, and caring human being. Always looking out after Jeanie and his friends. Ann and I will miss him so much. We are with you, Jeanie. Please know this. We love you so much and truly appreciate our genuine friendship. After all, this is what it's all about. Nothing more, nothing less. This is why it is so painful to us. Our love to you, Jeanie and your family in this time of berevement. Love, Malcolm
