Like many, I met James at Showdown. Always a friendly smile and a ready funny tale. I was once so despondent over the Redskins that I asked James if Green Bay was accepting fans. He assured me they were, but I'd have to agree to go up there and eat bratwurst. I told him I'd give Washington another chance. He was like that--so quick and humorous. And of course a true blue friend. I'll really miss that. Condolences to you, April. Thanks for sharing him with all of us for all these years. Love to you both.
