Beth was a dear friend and a model for growing old gracefully. I loved knowing that she was at all those UT games, cheering lustfully. She was responsible for my being hired at Highland Park when M.K. Hage was principal there. I copied everything Beth did and figured that way I could do no wrong. She shared everything with me.
