Our family guidepost and love, Billie Moeser Botbyl, 78, has gone to be with her Lord and savior in heaven. She journeyed upward in the arms of loving angels on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Billie was born to Myrtle and William Moeser in Colorado City, Texas.

She is survived by her loving husband George and four caring children and their families, Gregory and Karen Botbyl, Katherine and William
St. Jean, Linda Branham, and Douglas Botbyl. She was an excellent grandmother to her nine grandchildren: Jacqueline, Jeremiah, Andrew, Jeffrey, Joshua, Kimberly, John-Michael, Bridget, Trent and two great grandchildren Asha and Aiden.

Billie was a long time resident of Austin, Texas after her husband retired from the United States Air Force. She enjoyed her years of traveling and living in different places as an Air Force wife. No question, she brought up her four children well during those years. She loved bowling and bridge with her many close friends.

A cancer survivor of 25 years, Billie was a fighter to the end. She will be missed by family and friends for her rosy outlook, guiding influence, and her humor and wit.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home on North Lamar. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2012 in the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park.
