Marcia Bland Brown renowned Interior Decorator and Architectural Designer, 72, of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico passed away September 14th in Austin, Texas. Marcia was a long time resident of Austin and a graduate of Travis High School.

Marcia’s beautiful work has been seen in publications like Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Casa San Miguel, Veranda, Texas Monthly and many more. She was an independent Texas woman who left her mark in homes and hearts around the world.

Marcia is survived by her children Kim Brown of Austin, Lamar Brown of Austin, and Kelli Brown of San Miguel de Allende. She is also survived by six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and one sister and two brothers.

Friends are invited for a celebration of Marcia’s life on Sunday, September 16th at 2PM at the home of Mozelle and David Marks 6000 Lonesome Valley Trail in Austin, 512-302-0754.
