Albina Mary Foyt Leonard

Albina Mary Foyt Leonard, 95, passed away September 14, 2012 after a brief illness. Mrs. Leonard was born October 11, 1916 to Martin and Rozina Orsak Foyt in Park, Texas, Fayette County. Mrs. Leonard is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ernest Leonard, an infant daughter, her parents, and brother, Joe Foyt. After retiring from Paul’s Interior Fashions, Albina enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, gardening, and her family. A loving, joyous, giving wife and aunt, Albina embraced everyone she met with genuine interest and a brilliant smile of welcome.

Mrs. Leonard is survived by her sister, Marcella Treybig, nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress. Services will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Austin, Texas.

Pallbearers are A.J. Treybig, Bruce Treybig, Ray Foyt, Hal Herbelin III, Justin Herbelin, and Tim Ripperda.

The family would like to thank the staff from Southpark Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Resolution Hospice for the loving care and attention given to Albina during her stay.
