Christopher Abel Serenil, age 39, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2012. He was born on May 11, 1973. He was preceded in death by his mother, Melba B. Serenil.

Christopher is survived by his sisters, Jacqueline Rodriguez of Austin, Melissa (Bryn) Grimison of Boulder, CO; nephews and niece, Paul (Lee Anne) Rodriguez, Ashley Cervantez, and Kian Grimison. He will be missed greatly by all that loved and knew him.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 10, 2012 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with Reverend Michael Couhig, CSC officiating.
