Condolence: I had many wonderful conversations with Stuart when he would join us on Friday's at Fonda San Miguel. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: I have fond memories of Stuart. He coached me in Little League years ago and we have remained friends for a very long time. He will be missed by all who had the priveledge of knowing this fine man. My deepest sympathy to the family. Ken Boswell

Condolence: I have fond memories of Stuart's friendship with my brother, Neal, and the time he spent in our home. He was special to us and I am grateful for his being a part of our lives.He will be missed by many, Kay Kocurek Bell.

Condolence: I grew up with Stuart in Abilene and we were at UT at the same time as well. Everyone in Abilene knew him as "Speedy" Benson. Speedy played baseball for Abilene High as well as at UT and I enjoyed watching him play at both institutions. I always considered Speedy to be a good friend and a great person.

Heard of Staurt passing yesterday and my sincerest thoughts and prayers are with you as am sure are many who knew Stuart and your family. We've traveled many a mile since that wonderful time of Little League and Babe Ruth and Stuart was always a solid rock in the life of all he touched. A very kind and humble man who supported you and all that was right in life. No preparation is available for the loss of a parent and you fellas have been through much in last 2 to 3 years, but as time passes I pray that you will be left with so many great and wonderful memories of Stuart and Rhoda.
