At 1:25 am, Tuesday morning, August 21st we lost our beloved father, Tony Contreras at the age of 64.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gorgonio Contreras; mother, Mary Flores Contreras.

Tony is survived by his high school sweetheart, Maria Elena Contreras; children, Michael, Debra, TJ, Samantha and Jennifer; ten grandchildren, Jose Antonio “JuJu”, RJ, Joseph, AJ, Elizabeth, Noah, Meriah, Ariana, Tomas, and Jonathan Jr.

Our father will always be remembered by his big open heart and his out spoken voice. All of what his kids were known as “lectures” are now our long known lessons of life. Dad may no longer be in our sight but forever in spirit he shall live on.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Julia Catholic Church.
