Russ Lloyd, 46, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, in Austin, Texas. Russ was born July 14, 1966, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to Homer and Jo Ann Lloyd. A graduate of Rich East Campus High School, Russ moved to Texas in 1990. In 1993, he married Ginger Lloyd. A devout Christian and member of the South Austin Church of Christ, Russ enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog Maizy. Most recently he worked as an IT manager for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Russ is survived by his wife, Ginger; his mother, Jo Ann Lloyd; his father and stepmother, Homer and Susan Lloyd, his sister, Kelly Boniuk; and numerous other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home on South Congress in Austin, Texas. Burial 11:00 am Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Wharton Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Wharton, Texas.
