Baldomero "Baldy" R. Uballe - Sgt., age 65, passed away after a lengthy illness. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, served in Vietnam 1962-66, Honorable Discharge. Preceded in death by father, Seledonio T. Uballe; brother, Simon Uballe. Survived by his mother, Maria Ramos Uballe, Austin; wife, Frances Baca, Lubbock; daughter, Christine Buitron; sons, Joey Uballe and Anthony Uballe; sisters, Modesta Estrada (Joe), Mary Ann Uballe, Sara Santos, Regina Ramirez, Ventura Uballe, Bessie Rangel (Alfred), Mary Jane Thompson (Wordy), Austin, brothers, Johnny Uballe (Mary), Austin, Dr. Esiquio Uballe (Susan) Fullerton, California; five grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, August 11, 2008 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Special thanks to Hospice of Austin.
