His wife Beverly and his beloved German Shorthair Pointers, Belle, Halo and Ringo were with him when he passed away. T.Q. was born in Beaumont, Texas, and is the son of Louis E. Hebert and Kitty Vickery Quarles Hebert of Beaumont. In addition to his beloved wife, Beverly, and parents he is survived by father, William D. Quarles and sisters, Suzanne Quarles Barton and her husband Craig of Freeport and Deborah Quarles Whitmire and her husband James of Angleton. Tom spent his entire career in broadcasting. He began his radio career in 1971 as an announcer. His on-air career included some of the legendary rock stations in the country. Tom worked for: KHFI 98.3, KNOW-AM, KRMH-FM 'GOOD KARMA' and KLBJ-FM in Austin and KILO-FM in Colorado Springs, CO. In 1991, T.Q. joined KASE/KVET as head of production.
