Condolences

Condolence From: Alice Hall
Condolence: Les and I rode the same school bus to Dripping Springs ISD. His house was at the beginning of the morning bus route and my stop was soon thereafter. Les and I talked almost every morning. That is, until one of us got a driver's license. He wrote a lot of prose and poetry in those days and although I was looking at it through my teenage filter, I remember that much of it was very good. We would talk on our way to school about his poems and what they meant . He would write the final draft on a notebook page, then, like many authors, write below the verses his name and the date. It was like a trademark for him. Once, in Spanish class, he showed me a page on which he had written the words to Paul Simon's "I Am A Rock." At the bottom he had written, "I Wish I Had Written This" and the date. He often comes to mind when I hear that song.

Condolence: While Les and I have never physically met, we played poker together almost daily online. I came to know him as a kind soul who looked out for others. While he always had a good time taking my chips, I thouroughly enjoyed our time at the table,,, 258 will miss you Lucky Lesiano...... God Bless

Condolence From: Laura Wisdom
Condolence: Les and I worked together many years ago. Over the years our paths cross and we would catch up, conversation was always easy, no matter how much time had passed. We ran into each other a few weeks ago, for that I am thankful, we had a chat and a hug.
