Obituary for Lester Thomas Quisenberry II

Hi,
On February 7th of 2012, I opted to take advantage of the Weed-Corley Fish Funeral Home option to allow this site to have more features. We can now post pictures, video, memory, etc.
It's been almost two years since we lost Les. I miss him deeply & have finally decided to do this for him. I think he would like it.

Please join us in mourning the loss of our dear son, brother and uncle, Lester Thomas Quisenberry II, who died early on the morning of June 11, 2010, while coming home on his beloved Harley. Les had many friends from all walks of life. He lived his whole life in Austin, where he worked in commercial construction. Les had a great, ironic sense of humor and loved to laugh. He never complained about the bumps in the road of life. He never asked anything of anyone except to be respectful of his choices. Having his Harley these last few years was a dream come true for him and, though we are broken hearted today, we are grateful no one else was injured in the accident and that he did not suffer.
Les is survived by his mother Alberta Quisenberry, sisters India Jo Ann Vance, and Jane Quisenberry, brother Curtis Quisenberry, nieces Jessie Strub and Laura Lester, and great-nephew Jack Strub.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Les' memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 2151, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101-2151.
