Sherry Lorene Babin Otis age 71 passed away March 16, 2011 in Austin, Texas. She was born on February 28, 1940 in Village Mills, Texas to Frank and Thelma Lorene Harper Simpson.
She is survived by her husband Patrick Houston Otis, her son David (Kellye) Babin and daughter, Michelle (Moe) Taylor and 5 grandchildren Jake Babin, Jacy Taylor, Jodie Taylor, Jack Prostko and Cammie Prostko.
Sherry graduated from Lamar University. She was a school teacher for many years and after her teaching career she worked for the State of Texas as an investigator for Child Protective Services.
She loved kids and friends and was very vivacious and outgoing. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. We Love You, Mom!
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. at Weed-Corley-Fish South Congress. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 19, at 2:00 P.M. at Weed-Corley-Fish.
