Condolences

Condolence From: gary goodfriend
Condolence: Our family lived across from Rozans' family as we were all growing up. I remember she, Billy and her children with fondness. We all knew each other. Rozan was a friend and we woudl always rely on her for a laugh and a wonderful sense of humor and caring nature. My sincerest condolences the family.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your family, as I know everybody loved Rozan, including me. I remember her terrific sense of humor, her straightforwardness, and her potent intellect--and I know all you kids inherited those great traits! Our grief is a tribute to her charming personality, and she was so well loved. We will miss her.

Condolence: Dear Marsha, Bobby & Marc,
I'm so sorry I didn't know about your mom's death until I read The Jewish Outlook yesterday. I was shocked and saddened. She and all of you were such an integral and important part of our early years, and I've got wonderful memories of those years. I know you'll miss her terribly. Please know you're in my thoughts. Love, Suzann

Condolence: Dear Marsha, Bobby & Mark,
It's bittersweet to think of the world without Rozan in it. She was indeed a "force of nature" and I remember her and your Dad well. I have a picture of Mom, Billy Tom Conoley, Iris Pierce and Babe Condra, posing in the Living Room of your house on Lake Drive in dresses from the store. I think they were going to model them in the Jr. Women's Study Club Style Show. I hadn't seen Rozan in many years, but I can only imagine that she hadn't changed much over time - fun, lively, feisty and forceful - never a dull pause in the conversation! She was great and I know that you all will miss her.

Condolence: I'm so sorry about your mom. Dad (Jimmy Grove) used to get all my school clothes from your parents' shop in Taylor and your mom would pick things out for me. I loved her dearly.

Condolence: Dear family of Rozan, when I was a very young teenager and visiting my Dad, Pruett Watkins, M.D. in the early 1950's in Taylor, I would often shop at the store in downtown Taylor. Your mother was beautiful, gracious, always smiling and would compliment me and help me feel beautiful too. Your parents and my Dad were very close friends. I even went with Dad to an incredibly beautiful wedding of one of your Uncles; I believe it was in Dallas. It would have been approximately 58 years ago. I remember your parents fondly from my visits in Taylor.
May you experience God's grace and peace during this time of loss.

Condolence: Dearest Marsha, Bobby, and Mark,
Time cannot erase the everlasting sanctity of childhood memories, and so many of mine include so many of your family as neighbors, friends, and Taylor business owners. This is a sadder world without Rozan, but it cannot be possible to extinguish her indomitable spirit. I'll never forget the presence and beauty she brought to any room she entered. I adored her and remember all of you with much love. Mother (Mary Adele) always felt a close tie with Rozan, and she joins me in extending our deepest sympathy at your loss
