Condolence: We think of Scottie every Sunday at book group--still reading his selection "Mere Humanity". We miss you Scott, we love you Janice, and we think of you all the time.

Condolence: Father Scott was a very special person in my life I have missed him every day since he left the church here. I remember the Bible classes at your home. You both were such gracious and kind people. Father Scott helped me thru a bad time in my life. I wish nothing but the best for you and your family. I know you will miss him every day. God Bless. Condolence: Dear Janis & Family - We were so sorry to read about Scott's death. I'm so glad it was in the Longview paper, or we might not have known. The obituary was so well written and one could easily see he lived his life to the fullest. Nothing seemed to slow him down!!

Condolence: We were so blessed by his presence at St. Mchael's in Longview. He was just one of the best, always there to guide us and be a friend. Janis, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: When I saw his name and photo, I said aloud, "Oh, Scotty". What a dear man. I have fond memories of him and of Janis at St. Michael's. I didn't know until now that he probably was just before my memories of St. Stephen's. And I certainly wasn't aware that he played killer tennis. What a man for many seasons. Condolence: Mac and Lennie--I have fond memories of your dad when he ( and you both) were at St. James Episcopal School in Corpus Christi. Your dad was the headmaster there for a few years and I was a teacher in the kindergarten. I think Lennie was in my group the first year you were there. Those were wonderful years for all of us at St. James with your dad a strong, kind leader. He had a very vigorous life and touched the lives of many, many people, including me. Condolence: I offer my deepest sorrow to the family of this great man. I know he was familiar with the Bible's wonderful hope for the future on a resurrection, stated at John 5:28, 29 which says, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life".
