Condolence: Dear Janis & Family - We were so sorry to read about Scott's death. I'm so glad it was in the Longview paper, or we might not have known. The obituary was so well written and one could easily see he lived his life to the fullest. Nothing seemed to slow him down!!

Condolence From: Wynyard (Wyndy) Elis
Condolence: When I saw his name and photo, I said aloud, "Oh, Scotty". What a dear man. I have fond memories of him and of Janis at St. Michael's. I didn't know until now that he probably was just before my memories of St. Stephen's. And I certainly wasn't aware that he played killer tennis. What a man for many seasons. He was a blessing to many in the recovery movement, and tto his many friends. My thoughts go with Janis and the family. "May the wind be at your back.."., Scotty"

Condolence: Mac and Lennie--I have fond memories of your dad when he ( and you both) were at St. James Episcopal School in Corpus Christi. Your dad was the headmaster there for a few years and I was a teacher in the kindergarten. I think Lennie was in my group the first year you were there. Those were wonderful years for all of us at St. James with your dad a strong, kind leader. He had a very vigorous life and touched the lives of many, many people, including me. Blessings to you and your families during this sad time. Jane Hamlin

Condolence From: Evan Jun 18, 2011
Condolence: I offer my deepest sorrow to the family of this great man. I know he was familiar with the Bible's wonderful hope for the future on a resurrection, stated at John 5:28, 29 which says, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life". My condolences to all who knew him.
