Condolence: On behalf of the members of the UT LAMP (Learning Activities for Mature People), I wish to Offer my condolences to the Nokes family. George was instrumental in the establishment and development of the LAMP program 22 years ago. He was deeply admired and respected by the members of the organization who appreciated his efforts and accomplishments. He helped build LAMP into the robust organization that it is today. He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Condolence: Virginia and Family, we mourn with you the loss of George, a great man who has made an important and positive impact on many people during his lifetime. He was a mentor and role model for so many of us in UT LAMP, he was an outstanding citizen of Texas as a legislator and he played a major role on the national level as a WWII veteran put in harm's way and a major supporter of his political party. What a legacy!!

Condolence: Dear Virginia & family,
Mom and I were sadden to learn of George's passing this morning! What a grand honor & blessing to have know him (and you). Dad often referred to him as a "prince of a fellow" which as you well know, said volumes in Dad's book! As we know first hand, all of your loving memories will sustain you now and will keep George close. Please know that you shall remain in our thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Gladys Willcox & Betsy
