Condolence: James Noble was the best and most creative percussionist at Carr Jr. Hi and Lutcher Stark Hi. His love of civics, history and all social studies was unparalleled.
I last saw James Noble at a State Democratic Executive Committee meeting when he was the proxy for Senate District 1, he was an attorney for an elite East Texas law firm at that time.
Only recently did I realize he had moved to Austin and established a practice. I knew I would soon retain a real estate attorney and bookmarked his law office only to loose him prior to reaching out to him.
Our thoughts are with his family and encourage them in knowing James Noble was not only respected in late life but in his earliest years as well. He had a wonderful friendly, kind and masterful personality during our school years.

Condolence: I have known Jim for over 30 years with our daughters growing up together at First Presbyterian in Tyler. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. My prayers to his family and especially his precious daughter Margaret.

Condolence: James Noble Johnson lived up to the 'Noble' portion of his name. He was generous with his wealth of knowledge of land law through his helpful and informative seminars, and his willingness and ability to answer questions posed by the surveying community. I know he will be missed by all of us who were fortunate to have known him.

Condolence: My wife Karol and I knew Jim at Austin College (where he and I were both band member), and we crossed paths later at Covenant Presbyterian. He was always a a friendly, caring, and admirable person. Many people will doubtlessly miss him. Best wishes to all family members in a difficult time.

Condolence: I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Jim. He will be missed greatly. I will always remember his willingness to help surveyors gain knowledge in boundary law. He provided seminars that were well attended and received here in Beaumont on more than one occasion. After the seminar, he always wanted to go to dinner at Don's Seafood for a bowl of seafood gumbo. The best in the world as far as he was concerned. I will miss our conversations over the gumbo bowl!

Condolence: Jim was a first class gentleman, teacher and leader to all of us in the Texas professional land surveying community. He was always cheerful and a joy to converse with. I always enjoyed attending the many seminars and talks he presented over the years. He was a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. Jim you will be dearly missed by all whom you have touched.
