Condolences

Condolence From: Carol Whittenbaugh
Condolence: Tom was one of the first guys I worked for at the Texas Highway Department (that was the name when I first started in 1968). He was very knowledgeable about paints and bridges. We used to play cribbage or backgammon early in the morning before work; we both got to work around 6:00 or 6:30 in the morning. He was a great man and will be sorely missed. I know he's in heaven with Lorraine and God.

Condolence From: Edwin L. Holt
Condolence: Please accept our sincerest sympathy at this time in your life. We have known Tom and Lorraine for many years.--Tom in the 1920's when we were both in the Methodist Orphans Home as it was known at that time--now it is known as the Methodist Cildren's Home. Tom was a good friends of my younger brother, Marshall Holt or Buck as he was also called. They enjoyed their annual golf game at the Easter Homecoming at the Methodist Children's Home as it is known today.

Condolence From: Ed Davis
Condolence: I worked with Tom at the Texas Highway Department from 1973 until his retirement. I respected Tom for his knowledge, sincerity and above all - his friendship. He readily shared his experiences with the Department and was always willing to assist others when his help was needed. He will be greatly missed by his many friends in the Department.
