Condolences

Condolence From: Chip Halpin
Condolence: To Ken's family, my warmest empathy and regrets. We fought and played like brothers. To his friends, you KNOW. You know we have more Ken Roberts memories and adventures than most of us can remember. I knew KR at Lafayette but we only ran randomly. We had mutual friends. Once you were his friend, you were always his friend. He loved his family and friends and random friends. We literally ran into each other again 15 years ago at a National roofing convention and it was game on. Our times together were sporadic, but our adventures are legendary. Most legends happened when "we were just mindin' our business someplace under a cobalt blue sky". Kenny Bob never ended a conversation with me without ...."Love you Palzie".
You are and always will be missed.
I Love YOU, Pal.
Chippy Bob

Condolence: Kenny Bob -- I'll miss you. I'll miss the laughs, the great times on the town, the incredible golfing outings, and your sublime approach to life! I have you to thank for my first and only hole in one when you took me out to Lake Cliffs. Our friends at the Round Table were so lucky that Drew met you at the wedding in Mexico, and then your ultimate decision to move to Austin. You may be thinking you had a full and great life, and you would be right -- but we were the lucky ones who shared the experience. Take care buddy, and I will see you again someday, hopefully not too soon! pb

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear this news and I just saw it in the Austin paper moments ago. We lost a fine man here and Mel and I hope he is at peace with the Lord. Kenny was a fine American sports fan and we will miss him.

Condolence: fellow roofing brother Ken Roberts was one of a kind and a really good man!
I liked him the 1st time we met at 5th wall in Austin many moons ago. I was happy to see him & Kenny start their own firm as we shared the same passion and ability to run a roofing business. My respect for Ken was in the way he carried himself in his business and also very friendly attitude towards me.
I was shocked when I received word while in London last week on vacation with family and wanted to write but had limited access across the pond.
Ken's smile and memory will last in our minds and hearts for those of his family and those of us doing business and lucky enough to be friends of his.
God Rest and Bless his Irish Soul in Heaven.

Condolence: I've known Kenny Bob almost my whole life. (I'm only 8 years old.) He gave me my first piece of chocolate and a giant teddy bear. He taught me how to jump and how to play football. He would always sneak me some junk food when my mom wasn't looking. He also got me my first golf club and a puppy named Frankie Boy. He was my mom's best friend and we used to visit him a lot. I love him and miss him.

Condolence: Fantastic memories of a friend who loved life to it's fullest. If you wanted an adventure in college, all you had to do was hang out with K.R. He had an attitude, an infectious way of endearing himself to all he met. He would do just about anything for his friends, and friends were plentiful for K.R. You will be missed, but our memories of you will live on eternally. Rest in peace.
