After a prolonged illness, Mrs. Lee Truchard passed away Saturday the 30th of June at her home in Austin, Texas.
Born in Houston in 1941, Lee received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University. Lee worked as a school teacher and then with her husband, James Truchard, raised their four children in their home state of Texas.
Lee had a love of animals, a devotion to the Catholic Church, and a great affection for the Texas Hill Country. Together with her husband, she was fond of watching the spectacular sunsets over Lake Austin and the surrounding hills.
She is survived by her loving spouse, four children, and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 2nd followed by a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5455 Bee Cave Road, Austin, Texas, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3rd, with a reception to follow.
