Obituary for Eleanor Poole

Eleanor Lois Poole, affectionately known as "Grammy", passed away peacefully on July 5, 2012 at age 79, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 2, 1933 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Rev. John F and Minnie Ava Cox. Eleanor retired from the Real Estate Department at First City Bank as a Vice President in 1985.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Frank Cox and Harold Cox; her sisters, Vivian Cox and Gerry Wheeler.
Eleanor is survived by her Children, Don Poole and wife Nancy, Carolyn Bertelson and husband Ken; her Grandchildren, Traci Wood and husband Charles, Trey Bertelson and fiancé Ashtin De Luna, Michael Dagnall-Gwinn and wife Cynthia and Brian Dagnall-Gwinn; Great-Grandchildren, Kylie Gomez, Kaegan Wood, Aubrey Wood, Liam Wood and Kylie Dagnall-Gwinn. Eleanor is also survived by her sisters, Gladys Dunlap, Glenda Dalrymple and husband Ronald; her brother, John Cox and wife Jerline; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The Family would like to extend our Thanks to the staff at Brodie Ranch Rehab and Health Care Center and to Hospice Austin for the awesome care they provided.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue. Funeral Service 10:00 am on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery, Manchaca, Texas.
