Condolence: My favorite memory of Bill was meeting and dining with him at my dear friends Paul and Nancy's. We would watch the footballs game, I would try to keep up with the repartee between Bill and Paul, and we would enjoy one of Nancy's fabulous meals. I treasure these memories.

Condolence: Ardith, Mark, Anne, Mary, Nancy, and families --
My heart goes out to all of you at this sad time. My first memories of Bill go way back to my childhood days in Minnesota being wide-eyed when aunt Ardith and uncle Bill visited, I remember staying with Bill and Ardith in Minneapolis, then later in New Jersey and a few visits through the years. He was a kind, generous, handsome man and will be missed by many. Much love to all of you. Carol

Condolence: Dear Mrs. Reilly, Mark, Anne, Mary, Nancy, Reilly, Elana, Mark and Elizabeth, Having the Reilly Family in my life for more than 30 has given me so much joy and a true understanding of love and friendship. We could always count on Bill to enter with a dashing smile and engage in interesting friendly conversation. It was my misfortune to not be at a dance hall at the same time Bill was there. Our love and prayers to all who knew and loved him are with you. I will have a High Latin Mass, in his honor, at my church, Saint Matthews Cathedral in Washington D.C at a later date. Maria Silvia Miller

Condolence: I feel so blessed to have all the wonderful memories of many, many family gatherings with the Reilly family. I could always count on being greeted by Uncle Bill with a great big smile and "Hi, Diane-E!" He and I loved to listen to Charlie Pride albums......we both knew all the words! When Bruce and I were married, I was privileged to enjoy several dances with Uncle Bill at our reception. He was a great dancer and that is an extra special memory for me. Uncle Bill always took an interest in what was going on in our lives, he asked questions, and genuinely cared. The Henney family loves the Reilly family more than can be imagined and we share your sorrow and loss. You are in our prayers. God Bless You, Uncle Bill.

Condolence: Bill Reilly was the best man I have ever known, other than my father, and he was like a father to me and the best Grandfather to Elizabeth and Mark Jr. After the divorce between his son and myself, he told me he would always be there for us and he certainly kept his word. We so looked forward to when he would come in to stay with us and be there with us, it so enriched our lives. He brought joy to our lives, as he was kind, thoughtful, and always sharing his knowledge and experience. I have saved wonderful letters he wrote to his grandchildren and even to myself through the years. He never forgot a birthday or Christmas. I loved him dearly and miss him already. I know you are in heaven with our Lord, and dancing with the angels. God Bless You Bill now and for always. Vicki

Condolence From: Paul Weyland Hutzler
Condolence: Bill was my father in-law and my friend. We shared many conversations on many subjects as we enjoyed the fine home cooking of my wife/his daughter Nancy. He enjoyed a good cigar and a cold drink on a nice Austin evening. He liked Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys and Hank Williams. He also appreciated vintage Hawaiian music and anything with an accordion. Bill enjoyed two-step dancing in small towns all over Texas. He was an early fan of The Derailers and enjoyed seeing them at the Broken Spoke here in Austin. He was obsessed with the game of baseball (loved the Chicago Cubs and the Houston Astros) and he tolerated Texas Longhorn football. He traveled overseas several times and I think he had accomplished his goal of visiting every single county in Texas. He was proud of his Irish background. He loved being surrounded by family. Bill Reilly was an honest and straight-forward man with a good wit, rugged good looks, a sharp intellect, a nice smile and a twinkle in his eye. I miss him already. Fly on, Bill.

Condolence: Bill touched my life and the life of my family in the most giving way. Maybe a pre-cursor to his own destiny, he looked in from a different side..to help, nurture and be there for those in need. Bill relentlesly arrived at my house, day after day, driving my husband to treatments, for weeks and weeks. Never once did he falter or back out on his committment to our family. Then he became the one in need. I wish that I could have been there to return that gift. Through this time, be patient, and make allowance of other's faults through your love.
Bev
