Condolence From: Stephanie Harrod
Condolence: I did not know Mr. Cowdon, but as a daughter I cannot even fathom the loss that is being endured. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of someone taken far too soon...God gained an angel...

Condolence: This is so sad. I still can't believe it. I remember when you told me you were moving to Colorado like it was yesterday. You will always be remembered in the Mortgage Banking community.

Condolence From: Don Corrick
Condolence: Gordon was in high school when I room-mated with Graves at Baylor University. Like all of the Cowdens, he grew up to be a wonderful adult. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, and my thoughts are with the Cowden family during this sad time.

Condolence: My prayers are with the Cowden family during this difficult time. Gordon was a friend of mine at Howard Payne University. I will always remember his infectious smile and just the ultimate sweet guy he was.

Condolence: I work for the Christian organization World Vision, through which Mr. Cowden sponsored many children over the years. In 1995 I met a young man he had supported in Zambia, who, despite poverty and polio, had gone on to graduate from university. Mr. Cowden made a big difference in that young man's life -- just one of many lives he touched. He leaves a legacy of love and compassion that spans the globe.
