Condolence From: Dee Anna Aug 06, 2012
Condolence: Whimp, although you were such an avid Longhorn fan and I such an avid Aggie, your love for me surpassed any Thanksgiving football rivalry there was over the past 28 years. When I first met you, you told me you could never pull for the Aggies. However, over the years, you pulled for them when they were not playing your Longhorns! You accepted me into your family when I married your son and I am greatly appreciative of that. You were a wonderful father and grandfather. Your humor always made me smile. Your wisdom I will always remember and our loving memories I will always cherish. Thank you for calling me your ace number one daughter-in-law. Of course I was your only daughter-in-law, but you made me feel like I was the best ever. Your quick wit, kindness, love of sports and love for your family will continue in the lives of your granddaughters. I miss you Whimp, but I know one day we will be reunited in our faith in Christ. Until that day, take care. And only for you will I say "Hook 'em". Love, Dee Anna
