Obituary for Frances J. Reding

Frances Julia Reding, 75, of Lakeway, TX passed away peacefully with family present in Austin, TX on August 9, 2012.
Born in Beaumont, TX, Frances was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John H. Carter. She married Bernard H Reding in 1959 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Beaumont, TX.
She was a graduate of Beaumont High School and attended Lamar State College. She worked as a secretary at Texas Employment Commission and Texas Education Agency. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Delphians and Homemakers Club in
Houston.
She and Bernard moved to Lakeway in 1996. Frances was a devout Catholic and was a member of Emmaus Catholic Church. She loved Lakeway and enjoyed playing bridge, walking and reading.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years; daughters Ann Reding and Mary Reding of Lakeway; sister Eleanor Tuffly of Houston; grandsons Reid and Garrett Noak; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 pm on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis at 411 RR 620 South, Lakeway, TX, with a Prayer Service to begin at 7 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Emmaus Catholic Church, 1718 Lohman's Crossing Road, Lakeway, TX. Burial will be at Forest Oaks Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to Lake Travis Crisis Ministries, 107 RR 620 South, Suite 114, Austin, Texas 78734
